World Boxing approved a 2027-2029 competition calendar at its 22 Apr 2026 Executive Board meeting, and on 13 Aug 2026 confirmed 11 of 12 competitions for 2027-2029 remain open for bidding - but the published bid list covers only World Boxing Cups, the U19 World Championships and the 2029 World Championships.
