AFBC announced Maputo as host for 13-18 December 2024 following a planning meeting of the Zone 4 nations; Club of Mozambique subsequently reported Mozambique winning the Zone 4 African Boxing Championship in Maputo, confirming it took place. Zone 4 covers 14 southern-African federations. Neither source states an age band; men's and women's competition was contested.
