Terms

• Boxateur indexes amateur boxing events, results and the footage that covers them. Records and rankings are compiled from federation documents and can contain errors; tell contact@boxateur.com and they are corrected at source.
• Video plays through the platforms that host it, under their terms. Boxateur hosts only what boxers upload themselves.
• You must be 16 or over to hold any account, and 18 or over to verify as a boxer or a scout.
• One person, one account. Sharing a login, claiming a record that is not yours, or submitting documents that are not yours ends the account.
• We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why.
• These terms will be reviewed by a lawyer before Boxateur leaves testing; the reviewed version replaces this one and accounts are told.

• You must be 18 or over to verify as a boxer. The date of birth on your ID is recorded and is what enforces this.
• You are claiming your own record. Claiming somebody else's profile, or submitting documents that are not yours, ends the account.
• Your contact details are shown to nobody unless you switch on "Open to pro enquiries", and then only to scouts Boxateur has verified. You can switch it off at any time and every view of your details is logged for you to see.
• Clips you upload are licensed to Boxateur on the non-exclusive terms shown at upload; you keep your own rights.
• Your ID, passport and selfie are seen only by Boxateur's reviewers and are deleted thirty days after the decision. The decision itself, your legal name and your date of birth are kept.

By uploading this clip you confirm that you are the person shown in it or otherwise hold the rights to it, and you grant Boxateur a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, edit, excerpt, distribute, publicly display and promote the clip, and to sublicense those rights to partners who carry Boxateur content. You keep every right you have in the clip and may use it anywhere else. You can delete a clip at any time; deletion stops it being shown on Boxateur but does not undo uses already made under this licence.

• A Scout account is for one named person: a coach, or a professional manager, promoter or matchmaker, verified against a licence or a reference. Sharing a login ends the account.
• Contact details and resumes are provided so that you can approach a boxer about their career. Using them for anything else — marketing lists, resale, scraping, harassment — ends the account and may be reported to your licensing body.
• Every time you open a boxer's contact details or download a resume it is recorded, and the boxer can see how many scouts have looked.
• Access runs for a seven-day free trial from approval. Boxateur is not charging during its testing period; when subscriptions open you will be told before anything is billed.
• Records, results and rankings on Boxateur are compiled from federation documents and may contain errors; a signing decision is yours to check.
